Chelsea supporters have made their feelings clear over a potential transfer switch for AS Roma star Paulo Dybala this summer. It comes as the Blues have been heavily linked with a switch for the 29-year-old, following an impressive campaign under his new boss Jose Mourinho.
The playmaker scored 18 goals and assisted eight times to tally up 26 goal involvements over 38 appearances across all competitions last season. It's a run of form that saw Roma make their way to the final of the Europa League, missing out to Sevilla, with his league form ensuring they qualified for the tournament once again.
"My sensation is that [Dybala] was seeking the joy he had lost more than confidence," Mourinho said in April in a glowing review of the World Cup winner. "He found it here, with a squad that understands him, a coach that loves him, a position on the field with players like Pellegrini, Cristante and Mancini he has strong characters around him in leadership roles.
“Dybala is a nice boy. He has the quality to play for the biggest clubs in the world, but he has found joy here. I gave him absolute freedom to come on tonight and he could come off even two minutes later if he didn’t feel up to it, but he played 30 minutes of extra time and 25 minutes regular, and he finished on a high.”
It's a glowing review of the former Juventus man, but the Portuguese coach risks losing Dybala for a nominal fee this summer as reports claim there's a release clause in his contract worth roughly £10 million. One of the teams linked with a switch for the forward are Chelsea.

With the Blues in need of a forward line rework, following a season where they scored just 38 goals in 38 Premier League games, it could be a cheap but experienced option to bolster those numbers. A further transfer frenzy was sparked over the weekend as the Argentina international was in England for the British Grand Prix.
In attendance was also Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, who discussed a potential move for Dybala too, only heightening talks surrounding a deal. The fans made a clear transfer demand too, taking to both Silva and Dybala's social media pages to discuss a move this summer.
Under the Brazilian's post on the grand prix, many fans said "Agent Silva" in reference to discussions over the forward making the switch. Plenty followed in Dybala's own post, with fans saying things such as "come to Chelsea" filtering their way throughout the comments sections.
It remains to be seen whether such a move will go ahead or not in the coming weeks and months of the transfer window, however the consensus from supporters is clear.
