Paulo Dybala sent blunt Liverpool transfer message after Juventus decision

John Barnes wouldn't like to see Paulo Dybala playing in the Premier League unless it is for Liverpool after it was revealed he wouldn't be extending his contract in Turin with Juventus.

The 28-year-old has been with Juventus since 2015, but it looks as though his time in Italy is coming to an end after the two failed to agree on terms for a new contract.

The talented forward has plenty of admirers, with Liverpool rumoured to be one of them, but Barnes has highlighted how he wouldn't be upset if the forward stayed with Juventus because he would improve any side in the Premier League.

“I don’t care which Premier League club Paulo Dybala moves to if he isn’t coming to Liverpool," said Barnes to BonusCodeBets.

“I wouldn’t like to see him play anywhere else in the Premier League because he’s an incredibly good player. For the Premier League it would be excellent to have a play of his stature though.

“I’d like to see him stay at Juventus because if he comes here, he’d be a top player for any team that helps to challenge Liverpool for the title. He will be a wonderful addition to the Premier League.”
