Recently, shocking allegations of abuse have surfaced against reality TV star Mike Shouhed, known for his appearance on 'Shahs of Sunset.' His ex-fiancée, Paulina Ben-Cohen, has filed a lawsuit detailing the disturbing incidents she claims to have experienced at the hands of Shouhed.
The lawsuit alleges that a heated argument over a hookah on March 27, 2022, escalated into verbal and physical abuse. Ben-Cohen accuses Shouhed of hurling derogatory insults at her, physically assaulting her, and even threatening her life. Security footage included in the complaint appears to support her claims.
According to the lawsuit, Shouhed's alleged violent behavior was not an isolated incident. Ben-Cohen's lawyers cite a previous episode where Shouhed reportedly brandished a gun and threatened her after a separate incident.
Law enforcement became involved when Shouhed allegedly attempted to retrieve a firearm during the altercation. He was subsequently arrested for domestic violence.
In response to the allegations, Shouhed's attorney has not yet provided a statement. Ben-Cohen is seeking legal recourse through the lawsuit, which includes charges of assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and gender violence.
Despite the legal proceedings, Shouhed and Ben-Cohen were seen together post-incident, but the status of their relationship remains unclear. Shouhed faced criminal charges related to domestic violence, leading to the cancellation of 'Shahs of Sunset' after nine seasons.
