Paul Rudd has left fans baffled after debuting a new look for his latest role.
The comic legend and Avenger, 52, is currently sporting a snowy white 'do and thick beard on the set of new TV project, The Shrink Next Door.
The Apple TV Plus series sees Paul - whose Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston recently joked he doesn't age - portray Dr Isaac "Ike" Herschkopf, who worked as a psychiatrist to Hollywood A-listers.
Apple's synopsis describes the series as a "dark comedy inspired by true events that detail the bizarre relationship between psychiatrist to the stars Dr Isaac 'Ike' Herschkopf and his longtime patient Martin 'Marty' Markowitz [Will Ferrell]."
Paul was snapped wearing a loose-fitting old-fashioned suit, a protective visor over his face.
But the snaps do give us a look at his new hair, and that Paul had swapped out his usual scruffy stubble for more substantial, bushy facial fur.
The star has been in showbiz for nearly 30 years, most commonly appearing in comedies like Anchorman, Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, as well as 90s hit movie Clueless.
In the early noughties he landed a gig as Mike Hannigan on Friends, Phoebe's (Lisa Kudrow) eventual husband during the sitcom's final series.
And in recent years, audiences have got to know him as Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston recently referenced his famously youthful looks in a tribute for his 52nd birthday.
"Happy birthday #PaulRudd!! You don't age, which is weird - but we celebrate you anyway," Jen joked.
Paul admitted on The Graham Norton Show that his very first day on Friends saw him run over Jen's foot on a Segway.
"I was on the set for my first episode and Jennifer was on a Segway because she had broken her toe, and everyone was marvelling at it," Paul recalled.
"Matt LeBlanc asked to have a go and immediately knew how to do it. I then asked to try it too. I spun round and rolled it right over Jennifer's foot!
"The producers look of panic was if to say, 'Is it too late to fire him? Has his character been established yet?' I felt awful. Such an inauspicious start."
The Shrink Next Door will air on Apple TV+.
