Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba has previously heaped praise on reported Arsenal target Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Gunners are set for a busy summer transfer window and football.london understands that technical director Edu is keen to bring in at least one forward, a central midfielder and also potentially a backup fullback. Considering tough-tackling midfielder Mohamed Elneny is into the final eight weeks of his contract at the Emirates Stadium, the likes of Ruben Neves and Fabian Ruiz have been mooted as potential midfield targets to replace the Egyptian.
Another name that has recently been linked is Monaco star Tchouameni, who is valued at €40million-€50million (£33.5million-£42mllion) by CIES Football Observatory. Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the north London outfit are interested in a potential move at the end of the current campaign.

Speaking about the youngster to German outlet wettfreunde, Di Marzio said: "A lot of clubs in the Premier League are following him. Arsenal, Manchester United to name just two. He would like to play in the Premier League.
"He has stayed at Monaco for another year to await a chance to play in the Premier League. I think that will be the summer when he changes."
And Arsenal would be getting quite the player if French teammate Pogba's previous verdict on the 22-year-old is anything to go by. Speaking about his compatriot to broadcaster RTL, via Ouest-France, in September of last year, Pogba said: "Very very good.
"He’s not a boy, he’s a man. Pleasure to play next to him. He brings a lot of energy. A lot of energy, extraordinary technical and physical quality.
"We wish him to play lots of matches, and that I am always at his side."
