Paul O'Grady supported by fans as he shares heartfelt tribute to iconic pet Buster

Paul O'Grady has been supported by fans as he shared a heartfelt tribute to his iconic pet Buster.

The Birkenhead entertainer is renowned as an animal lover and now hosts popular ITV programme, For the Love of Dogs. Paul has enjoyed a long career in showbiz and was always accompanied by his famous dog, Buster,when he hosted teatime classic, the Paul O'Grady show.

Buster sadly died in 2009 and Paul took to Instagram as he posted an adorable snap of the beloved dog. He said: "Buster always loved Halloween. Here he is after a long night at the Canine Coven."

Fans flooded the comments to share their tributes to Buster.

Gaby Roslin posted: "Oh Buster."

Sparkly Blue said: "Ahh, I loved Buster & Olga. How they used to sit perfectly still on your desk on tv used to fascinate me"

Tamara commented: "Aah Buster. I loved it when you used to put him on your desk when doing your talk show and he always sat with his back to the audience "

Paul messaged: "Bless him! He was amazing! Always knew how to upstage you"

Louise added: "Awww little Buster he was the best! I miss your show with him plonked on the desk facing the wrong way and you’d have to turn him around! "
