Watching Paul O'Grady interact with dogs on his ITV show 'For the Love of Dogs' often shows his genuine love and adoration for our four-legged friends. However, the show, and its later version - Paul O'Grady for the Love of Dogs: What Happened Next - is not without its heartbreak.
It was Paul who was left heartbroken this time as he was forced to return his foster dog Tulip back to the dogs' home. The Daily Star wrote that during his ITV show Paul O'Grady for the Love of Dogs: What Happened Next, the TV personality became captivated by a white American Bulldog named Tulip.
Although he already owned pups of his own, the TV personality couldn't resist adding another one to his pack, but he soon came to realise that it was much more difficult than he initially thought. For when Tulip arrived at Paul's home she seemed to bark furiously at his other dogs, which disturbed the presenter.

Tulip's unexpected outburst left his existing dog shaken and she failed to bark back. Seeing that things had become rather unsettled in his household, Paul had no other choice but to return Tulip, with hopes she would soon be fostered or adopted by a loving family.
Thankfully for Paul, when he revisited Tulip's story in the ITV programme, he was happy to discover someone did decide to adopt her and she was able to blend into her family and get along with her other dog. Fans of Paul's popular dog show soon took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the recap programme.
One person said: "Nice having the chance to see how the dogs got on." Another fan shared a picture of her dog watching the show and penned: "Vinnie loves watching #pogdogs and realising how lucky he is. Bless those doggos.
Presenter Paul recently hit headlines after he returned to his Radio 2 show last week after being replaced by Rob Beckett for three months. At the time he posted on Instagram: "Back on the wireless tonight... if Eddie will let me near the microphone".
And followers were delighted. "Finally I can tune back into Radio 2 on Sunday afternoons. It's been a long 13 weeks", wrote one person. Another said: "You and Malcolm have been missed very much." While a third wrote: "Woohoo welcome back. Thank goodness your back… my Sunday evenings haven’t been the same ".
