Trainer Paul Nicholls is still hopeful Bravemansgame can run at Punchestown despite a recent Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) ruling which prevented him from running at Aintree.
The King George VI Chase winner was unable to run in Liverpool last week because his part-owner John Dance's company WealthTek LLP was placed into special administration by the FCA.
Dance's name had been removed from the racecard and the Gold Cup runner-up had been due to run in the Aintree Bowl last Thursday, but it was announced on Wednesday evening that the British Horseracing Association would not allow the horse to run because of additional information put forward by the FCA.

The Punchestown Festival gets underway next week, and as of this moment, Nicholls is hopeful if not entirely confident of Bravemansgame being allowed run at the event.
Nicholls said: “I want Bravemansgame to go to Punchestown. I don’t know whether there is a chance.
“Something might get sorted on Thursday, but I’m not sure. That’s for them to sort out. If we can go, then we’ll go, but if we can’t he’ll be out, unfortunately.”
