Paul Merson has claimed that fellow Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morrison told him that Leeds United will be relegated "five times" off-camera during their 1-0 win over Southampton at Elland Road.
Junior Firpo's first goal for the club sparked wild scenes of celebration in West Yorkshire as Javi Gracia got off to the perfect start in his tenure as Leeds manager. The result saw the Whites move up to 16th in the table, as Everton and Bournemouth both lost their respective matches to Aston Villa and Manchester City.
A midweek FA Cup clash with Fulham punctuates Leeds' Premier League battle against relegation, with a trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea next up for the Whites on Saturday afternoon.

And despite Leeds beating their relegation rivals, Merson has now revealed that he was told on numerous occasions by Morrison that Gracia's side will still be relegated this season.
He wrote in his Sky Sports column : "Clinton Morrison was sat next to me on Soccer Saturday watching Leeds vs Southampton and he must have said to me five times, 'These two are getting relegated'.
"I worry for them. Southampton had a great result against Chelsea but you have to follow that up by not getting beat by Leeds. That's why they're at the bottom of the league."
