Arsenal travel to Molineux Stadium on Thursday night as they battle it out against Wolves in their first Premier League game in almost three weeks.
The Gunners had been training in Dubai during the break as Mikel Arteta wanted to put his side through their paces ahead of an important few weeks in the pursuit of UEFA Champions League.
Arteta's side currently sit three points behind fourth-placed Manchester United but have played two games less than the Red Devils.
Now, former Liverpool striker Michael Owen thinks that Bruno Lage's men will clinch all three points against the north Londoners in his BetVictor predictions.
“Wolves have gone from strength to strength under Bruno Lage and a win here, would really give them some hopes of even sneaking into the top four," Owen said.
"They are so strong defensively and it means that they are always in with a chance.
"What a strange couple of weeks at Arsenal. A lot of departures but no incomings. I worry where the goals will come from. I know Aubameyang was having a difficult season, but he was still by far their best goal scorer.
"It’s a lot of pressure on the likes of Lacazette and Martinelli.
"I fancy Wolves to win here and keep yet another clean sheet. It won’t be high scoring, but they’ll edge it 1-0.”
Owen's prediction: Wolves 1-0 Arsenal.
However, Arsenal icon Paul Merson has predicted his old side to get a draw against Lage and Co, claiming that Arteta should opt to play Brazilian youngster Gabriel Martinelli through the middle.
"Wolves are the Premier League's dark horses at the moment," he told Sportskeeda. "They’re winning football matches, and they could push for a top-four finish by winning their games in hand.
"If United and Spurs win their games, Wolves and Arsenal cannot afford to fall behind. This is a massive Premier League match for both teams.
"If I were Arteta, I’d start playing Martinelli up front. Arsenal could spend a lot of money on a striker, but the player they’re looking for might already be at the club. Martinelli is lively and quick – he has what it takes. He should get a run till the end of the season, and might save Arsenal £70 million.
"Wolves are a very solid team, and they’ve also started to score goals now. They’ve parted ways with Adama Traore in the transfer market and that’s a big loss for them. A draw isn’t a great result for either team, but this fixture may well produce one this week."
Merson's prediction: Wolves 1-1 Arsenal.
