Conor McGregor wants to take on PJ Gallagher and Ireland footie legend Paul McGrath at the same time in a charity boxing match - prompting McGrath’s son to step in on his dad’s behalf.
Ex-UFC champion Conor also said former Ireland and Aston Villa defender Paul was barred from his pubs.
The MMA star took to Twitter and said: “I challenge PJ and Paul McGrath to 2 vs 1 boxing match in aid of mental health and anti-bullying organisations.”

But Paul’s son Mitch then responded and said: “Il fight in my dads place. You calling out old men your a joke lad get a grip of yourself embarrassing yourself [sic]”.
In a separate tweet, which has since been deleted, McGregor, 34, also took aim at footie legend McGrath, 63, and said: “You’re barred from all my pubs as well now.”
An unlikely feud between McGregor and Gallagher began earlier this week after the comedian and radio host reshared a video of an American sports presenter calling the Irish star one of the “top five active UK fighters in the UFC”.
Gallagher said: “Normally this kind of thing winds me up but they can have this lad.”
McGregor then launched a vile attack on the comedian, who has been open about his recent mental health battles, calling him a “little sad p*x of a thing”.
Earlier this year, Gallagher revealed he spent 11 weeks in St Patrick’s Mental Hospital after suffering a “total breakdown”.
McGregor went on to say: “Sit up and smile for a change will you, you sad c*** hahaha wife left you an all and your crying in the paper bout depression [sic],” before saying Gallagher had a “posture like a prawn”.
The cage fighter then received a vicious backlash online with many feeling he had crossed a line.
But McGregor defended his position yesterday and said: “It was more than a little insult to me. It also wasn’t the first time he’s taken shots at me.
“Just the first time I responded. But I suppose he has mental health issues so I guess he has a free pass to insult me publicly.”
Earlier this week, Ireland ace McGrath got involved and said: “PJ take no notice of bullies, you’re loved by everyone.
“Whatever you do don’t let him get the better of ya pal. Stay well top man”.
McGrath later commented: “Conor you need to find GOD and when you do knock on my door I will have the kettle on for ya… my good friend.”
That prompted McGregor to then take aim at McGrath in a series of tweets, in which he referred to the Dubliner as “English”.
The Notorious added: “If someone comes at me I am going to fire back.
“What don’t you get? I didn’t start any of this. It was me being bullied originally.”
