Paul McGinley sent Rory McIlroy a message after he returned to the top of the world rankings.
McIlroy successfully defended his CJ Cup crown and the victory sends him back to the top of the world rankings for the first time in two years.
McIlroy has now served 107 weeks at world number one and will have his sights set on surpassing Dustin Johnson's 135 weeks.
It is the ninth time McIlroy has gone to world number one and it has been a remarkable turnaround for the Down man dropped out of the world's top 10 a year ago.
And McGinley sent a public message to congratulate McIlroy on his victory.
He said on Twitter: "Terrific to see Rory reestablishing himself as World number 1.
"Michael Jordan talked in the ‘Last Dance’ of finding fuel and making things personal - along with the team additions of Fax & Bob there’s no doubt the arrival of LIV is a flame that ignites - it’s personal…"
And 2023 could be McIlroy's biggest year of his career as he looks to finally end his major hoodoo.
McIlroy has not won a major since 2014 and finished in the top 10 in each of the majors this year.
