Paul Konchesky is aiming to improve West Ham United Women's 2021/22 Women's Super League finish in his debut season in charge.
Konchesky was appointed to the Hammers manager role in May and has picked up three points from his opening two games this season.
A 1-0 win over Everton in his first game was followed up with a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United over the weekend.

Emma Hayes' Chelsea is next up on Wednesday night and following a sixth-place finish last campaign, Konchesky knows it will be hard this year but sees it as his aim to improve on what they achieved under Olli Harder.
“It’s always been my aim to become a manager since I stopped playing,” Konchesky told The Athletic. “It’s probably come quicker than expected but I’m here now and I want to give everything I can to this club. Hopefully this season we’ll prove that. The stuff I’ve got with the club is a personal thing and I want to take the women to the next step, to where we want to be.
“If we can improve on last year, that would be a massive bonus. We did really well in the cups and the league, so if we can build on that, that would be another successful season for us. It helps with the investment; every club is investing in the WSL.
“It’s always going to be harder but it’s not always about having the best players, it’s about the squad and what you’ve got in that squad. We’ve got a good group of girls here that we’re focused on working with.”
