Paul Hollywood’s tremendous earnings as he banks more than footballers and presenters

Paul Hollywood has been providing the public with incredible recipes, playful one-liners, and firm handshakes for almost two decades.

The celebrity chef, 57, became a hit when he joined The Great British Bake Off when it first hit the screens in 2010.

Thanks to his TV appearances - which include travel and cooking shows - as well as his numerous books, he has been raking in a ridiculous amount of money.

According to figures, the bread and buns expert earned £3.2million last year, making his fortune rise to £7.8million.

He is currently earning more than the likes of Lorraine Kelly, Holly Willoughby and some footballers.

As seen on Companies House, his entertainment business HJP Media is worth £4.3million. It also has £1.15million cash in the bank

He has another company, Paul Hollywood Ltd, which is now worth £3.6million.

A lot of Paul's earning comes from his work as judge on Great British Bake Off where he earns £400,000 per series.

He also has seven cookbooks as well as a line of cookware and ready-to-bake products found at supermarkets like Waitrose and Sainsbury's.

He also has shows Paul Hollywood Eats Mexico, Paul Hollywood Eats Japan and as well as a road trip series.

Meanwhile, Paul recently welcomed his new co-star Alison Hammond to GBBO.

After Matt Lucas departed the competition, it was announced that the This Morning presenter would be his replacement.

Paul, famous for his Hollywood handshakes, welcomed Alison to the Bake Off tent with a sweet Instagram tribute in March.

The celebrity baker, who has been a judge on the show since it began in 2010, posted a photo of the TV presenter with a specially designed Bake Off cake.

Confirming the news of her new role on Twitter, Alison tweeted: “It’s Official!! It’s happening The Great British Bake off! let’s have it – The cake that is so excited @BritishBakeOff @Channel4 @PrueLeith @PaulHollywood @noelfielding11 #GBBO."

GBBO is now being hosted by Noel Fielding and Alison, while Paul and Prue Leith remain judges.
