Paul Burrell has told Scottish TV show host Lorraine Kelly heart-breaking news regarding his health, as the former Royal butler revealed he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The 64-year-old opened up on the daytime programme about the moment he told his sons Alexander and Nicholas, and the emotional moment they shared, reports the Mirror. Scottish television presenter Lorraine Kelly introduced Paul on the show today (January 30), who spoke about the "life changing" news on the morning show.
Lorraine said: "Paul Burrell will be here with life changing news. He'll be sharing his cancer news for the first time in the hope that he'll help others."

Paul said that he was "so tired", and shared that he had been diagnosed in the summer of 2022. Diana's former butler told Lorraine: "I'm on hormone therapy at the moment and it's robbing me of my testosterone.
"So my beard isn't growing as it should and I'm tired and I'm emotional and I get hot flushes."
Lorraine pointed out: "Oh Jesus, it's like a male menopause, Paul. It's kind of like that with the treatment you're getting and the side effects."
As Paul went into detail about how he was diagnosed, the former Royal worker explained that he went for a medical last year, and part of that was going for a "full MOT".
Following a PSA test - a type of test that helps detect prostate cancer - his doctor suggested that his levels were "fairly unusual". He then underwent an MRI scan which showed a shadow on his prostate.
Paul said: "I'm on an emotional educational rollercoaster - ups and downs - and not knowing where I'm going to be the next minute. Having the biopsy itself and finding the cancer..."
Becoming emotional, Paul began to tear up as he continued: "Wrapping Christmas presents up this year and thinking, 'Am I going to do this next year? Am I going to be here? I need to tell my boys."
Lorraine nodded as she replied: "Well, that's the hardest thing of all, isn't it. How are they? Are they alright?"
"I went to America over Christmas and told them," he replied. "They sat with me and held me and said, 'Dad, we need to spend more time with you.' And that's what it's about."
Paul continued: "At the same time you realise that there are thousands of men out there like me who have no symptoms and don't know they have it.
"I was really lucky they caught it early. I don't think men are particularly good about going to the doctors - they need nudging."
