Eastenders star Patsy Palmer has been confirmed as the first contestant taking part in next year's Dancing on Ice.
Patsy, known for her role as Bianca Jackson in the long-running BBC soap, confirmed she is taking part in 2023 Dancing on Ice series, as she appeared on This Morning.
The 54-year-old Londoner told ITV, from Los Angeles: “I wanted to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone.

“I thought ‘I’ll just go for it’ and it seems like a lot of fun.”
Patsy, who last appeared on Eastenders in 2019 and also works as a DJ, joined hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who present Dancing on Ice, on This Morning.
After she was revealed as the first name confirmed for the 2023 season, Patsy added: "I just can't believe I'm the first one, thanks for that."
More contestants are set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Dancing on Ice 2022 won by Regan Gascoigne, son of footballer Paul, who competed with professional skater Karina Manta. They beat Reagan's fellow professional dancer Brendan Cole and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Watt in the final to win the crown.
Dancing on Ice will air on ITV in early 2023.
