Patsy Kensit eyes dramatic Emmerdale return in bombshell storyline

Patsy Kensit is eyeing a return to Emmerdale 16 years after leaving the soap.

As Emmerdale fans will remember, Patsy, 54, played Sadie King between 2004 and 2006. Sadie was last seen fleeing the Dales after she and Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, plotted to kidnap Tom King, played by Ken Farrington, only for the soap bad boy to deceive her - leaving her with nothing but a BMW.

Elsewhere in her career, Patsy has starred in Hollywood films Lethal Weapon 2 and Absolute Beginners. While, after leaving Emmerdale, the acting star has enjoyed roles in Holby City and Lemon La Vida Loca - alongside Keith Lemon.

Digital Spy has reported Patsy would be keen on an Emmerdale return and she has devised a bombshell comeback.

Patsy said: “I’d love to (return) – I loved the character of Sadie. She was someone who said all the things that people wanted to say in their lives but don’t have the courage to.

“I did that five nights a week on that show – it was fantastic. I lived vicariously through her as she was such a cow.

“I really enjoyed it, I love those matriarchal kind of women and it’s so nice to find a character who pushes the envelope a bit more with that. Never say never. ”

And, to that possibly comeback storyline which we are sure would interest fans.

Patsy concluded: “Maybe Sadie is mother to Cain’s child, as we didn’t know if she was pregnant or not when she left. We can all dream.”

As ever, we’ll keep you informed on the latest Emmerdale comings and goings.

Perhaps Sadie's comeback could tie in with Emmerdale's big 50th anniversary plans.
