JuJu Smith-Schuster hasn’t always been a New England Patriots fan.
That much is common knowledge considering he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers and spent the first five years of his NFL career looking at the Patriots as out-of-division rivals.
Granted, there was never anything malicious about his feelings towards the Patriots. It was always in good fun with him openly trolling fans.
One such instance was when he took a selfie with a fan wearing a Patriots jersey, while discreetly flipping him off back in 2018. Fast forward a year later, he captioned, “Ewwwww!!! A Patriots fan!!!,” when taking a selfie with another young fan in a Patriots jersey.
Following Smith-Schuster signing with New England, the social media team for the Patriots had a little fun with the latter interaction by doing some photo doctoring.

It’s like it never even happened.
Patriots fans are certainly glad to have Smith-Schuster on their team as they try to pick up the pieces from the offensive catastrophe from last season. He is one of several new faces on the roster that can hopefully help them turn things around.
