Patriots in good place to land DeAndre Hopkins, per latest odds

Rumors are swirling around wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins after he was released by the Arizona Cardinals on Friday afternoon. Now, betting odds are coming out as to where Hopkins will land next.

The Patriots have the fifth-best odds at +800, per DraftKings.

Rumors connecting Hopkins to the Patriots have been swirling around all offseason. New England still needs a top wide receiver, and Hopkins could undoubtedly provide that. His production was down a bit last year, as he recorded 64 catches for 717 yards and three touchdowns. However, he missed the first six games of the regular season due to a suspension. He is just two seasons removed from a 1,000-yard campaign.

Hopkins would be able to provide New England with a top-tier wide receiver and give quarterback Mac Jones an explosive target.

It will be interesting to see where Hopkins ends up.

The fact that the Bills are the favorites to land his services is a bit concerning. Seeing him catching passes from Josh Allen would be unwelcome news for the Patriots, who would watch an already loaded AFC East division get even scarier.
