The New England Patriots have received calls on wide receiver Jakobi Meyers ahead of the November 1 trade deadline, per NBC Sports Boston’s Phil A. Perry.
Myers has been a key weapon for the Patriots during his four seasons in the league. He has caught 194 passes for 2,309 yards and four touchdowns over the course of his career. He currently leads the Patriots in receiving yards, receptions and touchdowns.
Meyers went undrafted out of North Carolina State in 2019. He was able to work himself into the offense beginning in his rookie season. He has continued to play at a high level from there and developed into the team’s top receiving target.
Trade deadline coming Nov. 1. I’m told the Patriots have received calls on all of their veteran WRs: Jakobi Meyers, DeVante Parker, Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne. Agholor may be most likely to go, but contract (portion of his $9M base would go with him) could complicate things.

The Patriots are in a difficult spot at the moment, and they may need to move pieces at the deadline. That may include moving some key players in order to position themselves better for the future.
