Patriots defender calls out potential missed late-game call vs. Colts

New England Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore thought he had a good position to challenge the two-point conversion run by Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, but he felt like his leg got held on the play.

The Patriots let a 24-17 lead slip away late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game. Richardson led the Colts down the field on a game-winning drive by scoring a touchdown on a fourth-down situation.

Indianapolis then opted to go for the win by attempting a two-point conversation with Richardson sneaking into the end zone for the game-winning score.

“Felt like I had good position,” Barmore said after the game, via ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “I felt like someone was holding my leg. Quenton Nelson is a good player and he came and got me, but I felt like somebody was holding my leg. Real frustrating.”

It does look like Barmore gets tackled on the play that ultimately went uncalled by the officials. That only adds to the frustration after another disappointing loss for the Patriots this season.
