Despite what his grumpy press conferences would lead one to believe, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is just like everyone else.
It’s the holiday season and even the Scrooge-like Belichick made the nice list of the New England media members that he interacts with. During a radio appearance on The Greg Hill Show on WEEI last week, host Greg Hill asked the taciturn Patriots coach if it was alright to give him a gift that he had bought him for Christmas.
When told that it was a hoodie, Belichick had a priceless reaction, per the radio show's account on X, formerly Twitter.

“Oh great, I don’t have any of those,” said Belichick, reacting like a kid who had just been gifted socks and now has to pretend to be excited. Hill even added that he cut the sleeves for the Patriots coach, who is notorious for rocking that particular style of sweatshirt while pacing the sidelines.
Give credit to Hill, as Belichick can't be an easy person to shop for. And kudos to the Patriots coach for his amusing quip in response to getting another hoodie.
