The New England Patriots announced the dates for their throwback uniform games.
They will wear the red uniforms in Week 6 against the Houston Texans and in Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts. The announcement was made through the Patriots’ official X account on Wednesday.
New England will have their work cut out for them against a Texans team loaded on both sides of the ball. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud looks like a future star in the NFL, and he’ll be a huge test for New England’s defense in the first half of the season.
However, there’s hope that the Patriots can hold their own against a young, up-and-coming Colts team. Here’s hoping the team plays even better in the throwback uniforms.

New England is currently focused on rebuilding for the future under first-year head coach Jerod Mayo. These two games will be an opportunity for them to pay their respect to history, while also forging a new future for the franchise.
