The New England Patriots announced training camp dates, as well as select dates for joint practices.
Training camp will begin on July 27th, and the first group of practices will run until July 30. The practices will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Gillette Stadium, with gates opening at 8 a.m. Those practices will be open to the public.
The second session of practices will begin on Monday, August 1, and last until Thursday, August 4. Those practices will have the same starting time as the first session, with festivities beginning at 9:30 a.m.
The Patriots will also get some work in via joint practices with the Carolina Panthers. Those practices will happen on August 16 and 17th. Times for those practices have not been announced. New England is scheduled to face Carolina in the second week of the preseason.
This announcement is just yet another sign that football is right around the corner. Patriots have had a busy offseason, and now it’s about putting the pieces together for success.
