Patrick Vieira gives view on Liverpool and title race after Man City draw at Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira gave his take on the title race after his side drew 0-0 with Manchester City tonight.

The result moves Pep Guardiola's men four points ahead of Liverpool at the top of the table.

But the Reds still have a game in hand and could reduce the gap with a positive result away to Arsenal on Wednesday.

Asked what it is like to take on sides like City and Liverpool, Vieira was full of praise for both teams and threw Chelsea into the mix also.

He said: "I would put Chelsea in that bracket as well!

"I think those three teams are [among] the best four, five teams in Europe.

"You're looking at the number of players they have in the squad, how they play. They make the game look really easy.

"It will be a really exciting end of the season for the title."

Vieira added: "When you play against City you have to concede chances. It’s all about having your luck on the day but also putting in a shift as a team. We did that today.

"We fought for the luck and we got a point. We’re happy with the performance.

"We had some chances. It was that kind of feeling you can score one and win the game 1-0. I’m happy with a draw."

Palace have taken four points off City in the league this term, having beaten them 2-0 at the Etihad back in October.
