Make that three Super Bowls trophies and one new restaurant venture for Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
On Thursday, Mahomes and Kelce announced they were opening a steakhouse in Kansas City in collaboration with Las Vegas-based hospitality group Noble 33. The steakhouse is named 1587 Prime, the name inspired by the duo’s jersey numbers, and is set to open in early 2025 inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel.
“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said in a press release.
The new two-story, 10,000 square-foot restaurant will have private dining rooms, a world-class chef’s kitchen, an impressive meat display, and an extensive wine collection. It will also feature “hyper-subtle nods to Patrick and Travis’ on-field accomplishments,” according to the hospitality group.
Noble 33's current portfolio of restaurants spans across the globe with locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Toronto and London. Tosh Berman, co-founder and chairman of Noble 33, teased the possibility of more Mahomes-Kelce restaurant collaborations in the future.
“We do intend on expanding the brand with Patrick and Travis starting with the other cities where we have a significant footprint,” said Berman.
The specific menu for 1587 Prime is expected to be unveiled in the coming months, but Chiefs fans likely just have one burning question: Can you order a corndog?
