As Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes prepares to play in the fourth Super Bowl of his career, the Tom Brady comparisons are only going to get louder.
Brady is widely regarded as the best NFL quarterback of all time, but Mahomes is starting to give him a serious run for his money as the greatest ever with how his career is unfolding.
However, one person who doesn’t think Mahomes is close to Brady is Mahomes himself.
The Chiefs signal caller told reporters at Monday night’s pre-Super Bowl media availability that he doesn’t think he’s even “close to halfway” what Brady accomplished in his NFL career.

Plenty of NFL fans may disagree with Mahomes’ self-assessment of his greatest of all time status, as he’s got his supporters who say he’s already passed Brady on the list.
The “GOAT” debate is always subjective, but Mahomes doesn’t sound even close to ready with putting himself next to Brady in that conversation right now. A few more Super Bowl wins could help that, of course.
