The Kansas City Chiefs are going to roll with Patrick Mahomes despite the quarterback rolling his ankle last week.
It was announced on Thursday that Mahomes is off KC’s injury report and will start against the Houston Texans in Week 16 of the NFL season.
Mahomes has been troubled by ankle injuries in recent weeks but the right ankle had him leave the Chiefs’ game against the Cleveland Browns late in the contest.
Kansas City is trying to assure itself of the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff race. The Chiefs currently hold the edge with their 13-1 record.
