Patrick Mahomes’ high school classmate predicted he’d get a Super Bowl ring in their yearbook

Six years ago, Patrick Mahomes graduated from Whitehouse High School in Texas. He’d end up drafted by the Detroit Tigers to play baseball, but he was committed to Texas Tech, where he’d become a star at quarterback and become a first-round pick in the NFL, when he’d eventually lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their first Super Bowl in 50 years.

But it was in his high school yearbook that a classmate, Spencer Shaw, said he was most looking forward to seeing Mahomes’ Super Bowl ring at their class reunion. Shaw tweeted a photo of the yearbook after the Chiefs’ victory:

Pretty prescient! And if you’re wondering what Jack Terrell is doing with his life, we have an answer to that too!

What an accomplished class!
