Patrick Mahomes had another huge night Sunday against the Titans but he might want to rethink how he celebrated one big play because history has shown us it’t not a great way to do things.
The Chiefs QB tied up the game late in the fourth quarter by running into the end zone for a 2-point conversion. He was so pumped up by the play that he appeared to headbutt the wall in pure jubilation. Former Washington QB Gus Frerotte did that years ago after a scoring a TD and had to leave the game with a sprained neck.
Mahomes, thankfully, was fine after the headbutt and went on to lead the Chiefs to a win in OT.
But yeah, don’t do this:

Did Pat Mahomes just headbutt the wall? Why did Gus Frerotte suffer if we're not going to learn anything from him?

Mahomes making way too much money to be throwing Gus Frerotte headbutts.
