Patrick Mahomes’ dad Pat Mahomes — the beloved ex-New York Mets pitcher — is also a Taylor Swift fan.
Not of her music (maybe he is, but he didn’t mention that), but of her as a person, like so many others who talk about meeting her. In a recent interview with Starcade Media, the elder Mahomes recounted how he introduced himself to her, but that Swift knew who he was because she had watched Netflix’s Quarterback docuseries.
“She’s down to earth,” Mahomes said. “She was genuine. Every time I’ve hung out with her, she’s acted like a normal person.”
