Patrick Mahomes: Chiefs three-peat ‘would mean the world to me’

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to rest their starters against the Chicago Bears on Thursday ahead of the NFL’s regular season kickoff on September 5, where the defending champions will face the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.

While Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and Trent McDuffie ride the pine this week, the Chiefs’ attention will turn toward the team’s ultimate goal; achieving a Super Bowl three-peat.

When Mahomes was asked about his goals for the 2024 season in a video posted to the NFL’s official Twitter account, he made it clear that anything less than a third-consecutive title would fall short of his objective.

Check out his full interview below:

Though Mahomes isn’t expected to take the field against Chicago on Thursday, his campaign to become the NFL’s first back-to-back-to-back champion is already underway.

Expect the veteran quarterback to be razor-sharp when he faces the Ravens in Week 1 of the 2024 regular season.
