New Chicago Bulls guard Patrick Beverley predicted his new NBA team a long time ago.
The Chicago, Illinois, native finally made it back to play for his hometown Bulls this week after being traded by the Los Angeles Lakers and waived by the Orlando Magic.
Way back in 2012, he said he felt like he might end up with Chicago before starting his NBA career in 2013. Well, about 11 years later, Beverley’s prediction finally came true.
Beverley called his shot, and it finally paid off. The Bulls will now get one of the NBA’s most entertaining personalities on top of a reliable veteran on the court.
Pat Bev tweeted this in 2012 before entering the league 🔮

The Bulls have lost six-straight games, so any help will do for Chicago. However, they’ll get a motivated Beverley who will get to live out playing for his hometown team.
Will it be enough for Chicago to make up ground for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference? It’s not likely, but it is just a cool moment for Beverley to return to the town that made him.
