Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford has hailed 'down-to-earth' Wilfried Gnonto and revealed that his dad drives him in to training every morning after the Italian's brace against Cardiff City in last night's 5-2 demolition of the Bluebirds.
The 19-year-old's first goal of the night came after just 30 seconds when he channelled his inner Paulo Di Canio to score a wonderful volley from a Rodrigo cross.
The Spaniard then bagged the Whites' second of the half before Gnonto found his team's third goal, and his second, with a powerful strike past Cardiff goalkeeper Ryan Allsop.

Bamford himself popped up with a brace of his own after being subbed on in the second half, his first being another fantastic effort which curled into the far corner before a volley of his own five minutes later.
"I don’t think he realises how good he is," Bamford told ITV Sport after the match. "That is a good thing because he is so down to earth."
Gnonto has already become one of the fans' favourite players after his great performances in recent weeks, and after the club released videos and photos of him and Crysencio Summerville mucking around with each other in training, many have seen the pair as the Whites' 'dynamic duo'.
"His dad drives him into training every day," Bamford said laughing. "He’s a happy guy, always smiling. One of the kids you warm towards straight away."
