Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra is gearing up for his boxing debut next month, when he takes on American YouTuber Adam Selah at the O2 Arena on April 30.
The 40-year-old is on the undercard of Martyn Ford vs Sajad Gharibi - better known as the Iranian Hulk. He is joined by ex-Spurs midfielder Jamie O'Hara, who fights Kris Boyson, the former boyfriend of Katie Price.
Selah already has boxing experience from previous bouts, claiming two wins and a draw. Evra, who won five Premier League titles and a Champions League during eight years at United, has been keeping himself fit through boxing since retiring in 2019.

Now, with just over a month until fight night, the former France captain posted a video on Twitter of him in training with a three-word promise. He said he would enter the world of boxing with "humility, respect and excitement" as he prepares to take on a fighter 12 years his junior.
Evra wrote: "Massive respect to all the boxers around the world. I’m coming into the boxing world with humility, respect and excitement for the sport!
"Ready to learn. Come see me at my first Evra boxing fight - O2 Arena, April 30."
Speaking previously about the fight, Evra said: "I'm really excited to participate for the first time ever in my life in a boxing match, because I always had so much respect for people boxing. It is not just about power and strength, it is also about strategy and technique — It's like a chess game.
"What I am the most excited for is the training technique, because the way they train is completely different to how football players train. I am really excited to work hard, to challenge myself, and to get out of my comfort zone."
