Pat Spillane's daughter has said she is 'so proud' of her dad after he called time on his punditry career.
Spillane graced TV screens for 30 years as a pundit as he became synonymous with GAA coverage in Ireland.
The Kerry legend decided that three decades was time to call it quits with Sunday's final being his last day.
And Spillane's daughter Cara took to social media to say she was 'so proud' of her dad'
Taking to social media, sharing a snap of the two, she said: Out. The. Gap. So proud #GAA'
And a number of social media users sent their well wishes Pat's way in reply to Cara.
One user said: "A true legend be missed on the Sunday game wishing him all the best"
While another said: "He left on a great note , well done pat , great bit of stuff on the field & in the commentary box"
And another said: "Sundays won’t be the same."
Kerry would go on to win the All-Ireland in a thrilling four point win over Galway in a packed out Croke Park in a game that will live long in the memory.
