Pat Nevin says Leeds United's 'big players' turned up in their 5-2 thrashing of Cardiff City on Wednesday, but doubts whether they can back their victory up against Brentford on the weekend.
Wilfried Gnonto's stunning double, and Rodrigo's cool finish provided the Whites with a three-goal cushion at the break. Leeds continued to play at a high intensity in the second half, and added two more goals through Patrick Bamford.
However, Callum Robinson somewhat tainted what was an otherwise comfortable night for Leeds with a late double of his own. Luke Ayling was at fault for the first as he miskicked a low cross, which found its way to Robinson, while Marc Roca was penalised for handball inside the box for the second.

Although Nevin admits that he finds Leeds an 'entertaining' team to watch, he is uncertain whether the Whites' latest victory will be a turning point.
"Sometimes if your 3-0 up cruising, then you took your foot off the gas to save yourselves," the former Chelsea, Everton and Scotland winger to BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast.
"But that's just not the Jesse Marsch way and it is enjoyable to watch, and that's why I often say I do like going to watch Leeds because they will entertain you, or try to entertain you for the vast majority of the match.
"The bigger question is, how important is the win here [against Cardiff]? Getting a big win is good, getting a lot of goals is good, but big players scoring goals for you, and those were the big players who scored the goals for them.
"Does it make a big difference for Brentford? I'm not absolutely convinced about that. They will not face anything like they faced tonight when they turn up against Brentford."
