Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) passengers have had to queue outside in the baking heat on arrival at the airport and one man branded the airport a "soul-destroying hellhole".
Others complained about the outdoor queues reportedly "going all around the building" and claimed there was a lack of ventilation in the airport which has been called "inhumane".
Passenger Darrel Owens snapped a shot of the long queue into the Yeadon based airport and branded it an "awful airport" yesterday morning at 5.25am (July 12). He says he was standing outside in the heat for more than an hour and 20 mins, and he was still in the outdoor queue just 35 minutes before his flight was due to take off.

This comes as Leeds is set to see a sharp rise in temperatures with an 'extreme' weather warning in place for the weekend, issued by the UK Met Office. More passengers have taken to social media to air their grievances about LBA which has been under heavy criticism as it navigates through the staffing crisis.
Joe Cushnan said on Sunday evening: "Only been to one airport in the past 3 years. Leeds/Bradford. What a soul-destroying hellhole. @LBAInfo Oh, at the other end, Belfast City, a dream."
On Monday morning, Mike Ward said: "Queue for security at @LBIAirport right round the airport, twice - once outside, once inside. As flights become due, they are calling people out of the queue so it doesn't really serve any purpose."
Judi Amato said: "Leeds Bradford airport queues are IMPOSSIBLE [sic] - going all around the building so if you can get here early."
@katylynagh said: You need to get some ventilation or aircon. Delayed flights and this is inhumane going in to hour 6 at the airport."
