Passengers left 'disgusted' by bold couple who allegedly performed 'sex act' on busy tram

Appalled passengers have claimed that they witnessed a woman allegedly performing a sex act on a man whilst on board a busy tram. The alleged incident, which left witnesses "in shock", is said to have taken place on Sunday, December 4, on the Manchester to Bury Metrolink line at around lunchtime.

Disgusted passengers on board said that the bold couple got off at the Besses o' th' Barn stop at around 12.15pm, the Manchester Evening News reports. Metrolink is believed to be looking into the matter after being made aware of reports of the apparent incident.

Leiko Daiichi said his attention was drawn to the incident in the carriage after other angry passengers started shouting at the couple. The 25-year-old said: "There was a woman performing a sex act on a man. You could see everything, his pants were fully down.

"I actually didn't notice right away until others around me started to make a fuss. One old woman was in shock. Passengers were going mad saying ‘that's absolutely disgusting’ to them. It was very weird, they didn't care at all and they didn't even try to hide what they were doing."

Another passenger on board said: "There were other people on board the carriage at the time of the incident. They claimed the man still had his ‘pants down’ whilst departing the tram. The man was flashing everyone when leaving the tram.

"At least 12 people saw it and afterwards they were all talking about how shocking it was. A pensioner reported it to the driver when we arrived at Bury".

One furious passenger said: "If I had my kids with me, I would've knocked him out." Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) have confirmed they are aware of the alleged incident and are currently investigating the situation.

A TfGM spokesperson said: "TfGM has been made aware of the alleged incident and will be reviewing CCTV footage with the Metrolink Operator and Greater Manchester Police."
