A woman was shocked after getting into an argument with a man on a plane - as he spent the rest of the flight 'manspeading' to get revenge.
Sharing her story anonymously, the woman said that she was travelling with a friend on a budget airline and had booked seats so they could both be on the end of opposing aisles so they were next to each other but had extra legroom.
The woman was sitting next to a man who wasn't happy with his seat, so he asked if they could switch - an offer which she politely refused.
But the man was angry with her decision, saying he didn't have enough room, so he spread his legs and let his knees rest on her side of the seat divide - and while she accepted it at the time, later she began to question his behaviour.

Taking to Reddit, the woman wrote: "A friend and I booked two aisle seats in a low-budget European airline.
"We normally don't bother paying for a pre-booked seat but this time it was included with our fare as we needed checked baggage, so we booked two aisle seats next to each other near the front of the plane.
"We both hate middle seats, and normally are fine being separated if it means each has a window or aisle seat, so this was perfect.
"While we were already seated and people were still boarding we were talking. Not loudly, we were literally across the aisle, it was a normal volume, so it was obvious we were travelling together.
"The man sitting next to me in the middle seat asked me politely if we wanted him (to exchange) seats with my friend, so we could be seated together.
"I politely declined, saying we'd booked it like that for a reason and we were already next to each other. After my answer, he stopped being polite and insisted that people that travel together should be seated together, that we were being very rude to someone who only wanted to help us, and that we were disturbing other passengers with our 'loud talking'.
"We tried to ignore him but he kept on pestering us, and finally ended up admitting that he needed the aisle legroom more than us, since my friend and I are both pretty short and it wasn't fair that the man in the window seat was already eating into his space - to his credit that was true, the man in the window seat was a big guy.
"After that, I had enough and told him we were not gonna move and he should suck it up, and then finally the safety briefing started and we were off.
"He didn't openly bother us again, but he spent the whole flight manspreading into my seat, but I didn't care because as I said I have short legs and the flight was barely two hours long."
After sharing her story online, other Reddit users were quick to offer their opinion on the matter.
One wrote: "The guy was an a*****e - if he tried that with my daughter I'd be less polite than you. Well done for standing up for yourself."
Then another wrote: "What he wanted was a favour, so all he had to do was politely ask and accept whichever answer he got. Instead, he acted as if he was doing you a favour and b*****d when he didn't get his way.
"If he needed an aisle seat, he could've booked one, like you and your friend did."
And a third user added: "You had no obligation to do something nice for a stranger who was being rude to you.
"It's unreasonable to expect people to swap seats if they don't want to."
