The "Mission For The World" festival will be running from Saturday to Monday at Pasaya's factory in Bang Phae district of Ratchaburi province, daily from 9am to 7pm.
This is the only chance of year to browse through a wide range of products including bedding, textiles, curtains and home furnishings as well as the latest collections from various brands under Pasaya during the Pasaya Grand Sale 2022 which offers up to 80% discounts, plus a lot of prizes.
Visitors are also invited to unleash their imagination at a fabric painting workshop with artist Palut Marod and have fun painting ceramics in a workshop conducted by Tao Hong Tai, Ratchaburi's iconic ceramic maker.
One attraction at the festival is "The Sixth Extinction", a large-scale textile exhibition that uses modern technology and Pasaya's weaving expertise to feature images of endangered animals on fabrics.
They include Highland cattle, the Arctic fox, Bengal tiger, Saiga antelope, red-eyed tree frog, blue whale, fiddler crab, chimpanzee, Himalayan brown vulture, white-headed eagle and elephant. A highlight is a 6m-tall woven fabric called Mural Art.
Food trucks will be there to serve some of Ratchaburi's famous delicacies such as kana chai (olive pickled green mustard with mushroom), crispy salmon skin from Pick Me Please, and organic vegetables from Kongkarn Farm.
Alternatively, look for more mouthwatering dishes at the Octospider restaurant. Visitors can also be part of the tree-planting programme to create a forest within the Pasaya factory which aims to be a net zero emission factory by 2050.
There is no admission fee. Visit facebook.com/PASAYA.shop or call 02-440-0955.
