Partick Thistle have frozen ticket sales for their next home match against Falkirk.
The Jags will host title-chasing Falkirk at Firhill next Friday night on April 25.
Ahead of today's fixtures, with Thistle playing Dunfermline away and Falkirk hosting Raith, there is the possibility that John McGlynn's side could clinch promotion to the Scottish Premiership with either a win or a draw in Glasgow.
Livingston are currently just three points behind Falkirk, although have played a game more after last nights 5-0 demolition of Ayr United.
As a result, the away stand at Firhill has already sold out.
Now, after 'uncharacteristic purchases within the home support,' Thistle have taken the decision to halt ticket sales while they devise a plan with the Bainrs.
A club statement reads: "Ticket sales for next Friday night’s William Hill Championship fixture against Falkirk have been paused for all supporters.
"The away end in the Colin Weir Stand completely sold out last night and with a high number of uncharacteristic purchases within the home support overnight and this morning, we have paused all sales and will review the situation.
"We will continue to liaise with Falkirk FC regarding arrangements ahead of next Friday’s fixture, a significant match for both sides, over the coming days.
"We will be reviewing all affected tickets in the home end of Firhill for Friday’s game from late last night and will be cancelling and refunding these ticket purchases over the coming days."
