Participating World of Beer locations offer free burger to anyone who gets COVID vaccine

World of Beer is offering a free burger to anyone who received a COVID-19 vaccine.

The restaurant wants to “celebrate a receiver from the past year’s bruises,” according to a company press release on Thursday.

World of Beer restaurants will offer the “Black n’ Blue Burger” to vaccine recipients on Wednesday.

It’s a blackened Angus beef burger, loaded with Danish blue cheese, crispy onions, shredded lettuce, and garlic mayo on a toasted brioche bun.

Customers will need to bring proof of their vaccination shot to receive the burger.

James Buell, the Chief Brand & Innovation Officer, said it was the company’s way of spreading a little joy to “let the healing begin.”
