One area of the Liverpool City Region has logged a drop in positive Covid tests.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, there were 2,403 infections in the week ending March 27 in Sefton - that's 143 fewer positive tests than the previous week. This meant that Sefton's week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 6%.
The other five areas of the city region had rises in positive Covid tests. Those rises were: 11% rise in Knowsley; 8% in Liverpool; 4% in Halton; 10% in St Helens; and, 6% in Wirral.

Warrington, Cheshire West and Chester, and West Lancs saw rises in positive Covid tests.
In England, there was a 2% rise in positive tests in the week ending March 27.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 3,649 cases in the week ending March 27, which is 254 more cases than the previous week. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure increased by 8%. The latest infection rate was 729.1 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 3,224 cases in the week ending March 27, which is 191 more cases than in the previous seven days. This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure increased by 6%. The latest infection rate was 994 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 1,180 positive tests over the last week - that's 48 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change figure increased by 4% in Halton in the week ending March 27. The latest infection rate is 909.4 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 1,568 cases in the week ending March 27, which is 145 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in St Helens is 865.8 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure increased by 10%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 1,274 cases in the week ending March 27, which is 130 more cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 835.7 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure increased by 11%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 2,403 cases in the week ending March 27, which is a 143 fewer cases than in the previous week. The latest infection rate is 871.0 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases went down by 6% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 13,298 positive tests over in the week ending March 27, which is 625 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change increased by 5%. The latest infection rate is 780.98 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 1,903 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending March 27, which is 51 more cases than the previous week. The week-on-week percentage figure increased by 3%. There was an infection rate of 908.80 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 3,508 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending March 27, which is 247 more cases than the previous week. The latest infection rate is 1,020.29 cases per 100,000 people, and the week-on-week percentage increased by 8% in cases.
England
In the week ending March 27, England recorded 485,174 coronavirus cases, which is 7,674 more cases than in the previous seven days. There was a week-on-week percentage increase of 2% in cases in England, and there was an infection rate of 857.95 per 100,000 people.
