Parklife is only a few days away and festival-goers are likely getting all their gear together to enjoy the weekend.
While you're packing all your clothes for the weekend, make sure you have appropriate items to prepare for this weekend's weather. While the outlook is looking promising for the whole weekend, Manchester, and by proxy Heaton Park as well, is known for its rainy weather, so it's a good idea to pack a coat and some wellies just in case.

Saturday
According to the Met Office, Heaton Park will start off with sunny intervals in the morning with a small chance of light rain appearing shortly before the afternoon with temperatures reaching as high as 15C. While this rain may not be consistent for the rest of the day, it may be a good idea to pack a waterproof poncho or breathable coat just in case.
Moving into the afternoon, the weather will perk up significant with temperatures reaching as high as 18C while clouds and sunny intervals persist throughout. However, while the weather will be warm, festival-goers should be aware that it will be significantly windy throughout the whole day, with wind gusts reaching as high as 34mph in the late afternoon.
Sunday
The weather will be more settled on Sunday with consistent sunny intervals throughout the morning and afternoon and temperatures peaking at 16C by the mid-afternoon. Wind speeds will also be less dramatic than Saturday, but will still be significantly high, reaching speeds as high as 28mph in the mid-afternoon.
The Met Office commented that the seeking will be "Often breezy with a mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers". "The showers will be locally heavy, especially in the north on Saturday. Pleasantly warm in the sunshine," it added.
