The Parkland high school shooter sent a series of bizarre illustrated love letters to a British girl while awaiting trial behind bars, it has been revealed.
The 46-pages of notes, with drawings of smiley faces and stick figures, were sent to a girl, called Miley, by Nikolas Cruz last autumn, say reports.
In the letters, Cruz wrote about topics ranging from politics, family to death, but nothing about the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead and 17 injured.
Cruz confessed to the killings and is currently held in Broward County Main Jail awaiting trial.
In the letters obtained by The Sun Sentinel , Cruz said he wanted to meet Miley and asked if she would be at his trial.

In some other letters, he drew hearts and smiley faces with writings of 'Nik+Miley'.
In one he asks: "I also was wondering if you'd be interested in marriage when the time's comes. It won't be for a long time, but would you be interested?
"I feel like we make a great family together. With lots of kids. I imagine it every day. That's what's keeping me strong."
He also reflected on the death penalty as he wrote: "wishing life for me could have been different but it's not and a part of me is wishing it end the death penalty, letting someone inject me with long last sleep it's kind of what I want but I'm unsure of myself."
He also claimed that he wanted to be loved.

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey paid $1.40 in nod to social media site's character limit
"I don't know what's wrong with me, maybe I should get the death penalty. IDK, I just want love..." he added.
"I hope you can understand it's because of my mother. I feel like I'll never be loved and I'll die alone."
At another point, he claims to dream of a future having children and disturbingly says he would want to name them after guns.
He asked Miley: "Do you want children? I want 3 boys and girls. Maybe more LOL. The boys’ names will be Kalashnikov, Makarov, Remington."
Although there is no letter mentioning the school shooting he committed, he recommended his pen pal a school shooting-related song - Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People.
It's not known if Miley had written back to Cruz or if there is any back-and-forth correspondence between them.
