Paris Saint-Germain must pay the same price and agree to the same package that was offered to Newcastle United for Reims star Hugo Ekitike.
Talks between PSG and Ekitike have been ongoing after a move to United did not go through last month. A €31million deal plus €5millon add-ons was the agreement between Reims and Newcastle.
But it is understood that agent Karl Mwalako Buchmann's agent fee prevented the deal from being finalised and with PSG prepared to pay what was deemed an astronomical fee to Ekitike's representatives, he could be unveiled by the French giants soon. Newcastle weren't the only side to balk at the agent fee with Borussia Dortmund moving on to other targets too.

Suggestions in France yesterday were that PSG had came in a little light with their initial bid but sources suggested they were hopeful of getting the deal completed. If he signs he will face intense competition at PSG with Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, Neymar and Mauro Icardi all on board.
Newcastle had offered Ekitike a game plan at St James' Park and felt he could make the move a success. The player was said to be keen but it has been the finer details on the deal that have held it up.
