Paris 2024: Today at the Olympics schedule, highlights, Team GB events and how to watch

The Paris Olympics are fully underway after an action-packed first full day.

Here’s the best of the action for day three, with the full schedule across the games available here.

Day 3 highlights

10am: Men’s synchronised 10m platform final

It's a remarkable fifth Games for Tom Daley and the Team GB star is aiming for a fifth medal. He's got a new partner in Noah Williams but the aim is still the same as he looks to defend his gold medal in this event from Tokyo 2020. The pair won silver together at the world championships in February.

1.30pm: Cycling (mountain biking) - men’s cross country

Another Team GB star looking to retain their gold medal, Tom Pidcock is back on the bike as he takes on Elancourt Hill - which is the highest point in the region and entirely man made.

Pidock has had a tough build-up to the Games, having been forced to withdraw from the Tour de France with Covid, but he's in Paris and fighting fit once again.

7.30pm: women's 400m individual medley final

Swimming star Summer McIntosh of Canada, 17, is back in the pool twice on Monday night, hoping to go one better than the silver medal she one in the 400m freestyle she won on Saturday.

She is the world-record holder in the 400m medley, so hotly tipped. She is also in the 200m freestyle final in the last event of the day.

How to watch day 3

TV channel: The BBC is broadcasting two live streams of the action for the duration of the Games. This will be on BBC One, BBC Two or a stream available by clicking the red button on Freeview or a smart TV.

There is reduced coverage compared with previous years, however, when BBC broadcasted everything from archery to wrestling live on its website or channels. Instead, Discovery+ is the rights holder for Paris 2024 and is showing every moment across Eurosport channels in the UK from 7am-10.30pm every day.

Live stream: Fans can also catch the BBC coverage live online for free via the BBC Sport website and BBC iPlayer. The Discovery+ app will be showing extensive coverage, which begins at a monthly fee of £3.99.

Highlights: The BBC will be showing a nightly highlights show called Today at the Games.
