Carl and Marsha Mueller, the parents of ISIS murder victim Kayla Mueller, have endorsed Kash Patel for FBI director. The Muellers have built a personal relationship with Patel over the years, praising his love for the country and action-oriented personality. They believe Patel, a nominee of the Trump administration, is dedicated and compassionate, qualities crucial for law enforcement officials.

Kayla Mueller was abducted by terrorists in Syria in 2013 and tragically killed in 2015. The Muellers have been vocal about their dissatisfaction with the Obama administration's handling of their daughter's captivity. They feel that under Trump's leadership, there is renewed hope for families with loved ones held by terrorists.

Patel, a former National Security Council official, has been a source of support for the Muellers since their daughter's abduction. He has promised to be available to them at any time, demonstrating his commitment to helping families in distress.

The Muellers also praised former FBI Director Christopher Wray for his assistance and compassion. Looking ahead, they express optimism about the progress they hope to achieve in finding closure for their daughter under the Trump administration.

Patel's nomination process is underway, with support from conservative lawmakers and law enforcement groups. However, Democrats have raised concerns about his qualifications and potential politicization of the FBI.

Despite no longer serving in the government, Patel continues to show his dedication to justice. He recently met with the Muellers and other families affected by terrorist activities, offering his support and willingness to listen.

The Muellers attended the trial of ISIS terrorist El Shafee Elsheikh, where Patel joined them in showing solidarity with the families. Elsheikh was convicted and sentenced for his involvement in holding hostages, including Kayla Mueller.

Reflecting on the past decade, the Muellers emphasize the importance of justice and closure for families affected by terrorism. They share a poignant letter from Kayla, highlighting her commitment to relieving suffering and using her hands as tools for good.
