Fireworks being thrown at cars and windscreens broken are the latest incidents plaguing communities this Mischief Night.
Additional police patrols are out in force in parts of Merseyside following increasing reports of anti-social behaviour. But as Mischief night continues, police officers are urging parents to know where their children are.
Over in Ormskirk, youths have been "throwing fireworks" in the area of Coronation Park. Posting on social media, the policing team said: "All staff have been briefed by Inspector Bent and they're out and about, I'll try to keep to you all up to date with what staff are dealing with. Sgt Darren."

But as the first report was made, they added: "We've had the first report of the night of youths throwing fireworks in the area of Coronation Park. If you're like me I don't normally answer withheld numbers but if you receive one tonight it may be us asking you to collect your teenager from the station or act as appropriate adult in custody."
Skelmersdale policing team added that three sets of parents were already en-route to "collect their sons" following anti-social behaviour around Ormskirk. The spokesperson added: "If you have location settings on your children's phones and they are out it would be worth you checking where they are so they don't get involved."
While dealing with another group of youths, the wing mirror of a police car has also been "broken" in the town centre, as police officers keep communities updated on the evening's events. Over in Merseyside, reports have been made of gangs "launching rockets" at cars in the city centre.
The Merseyside South Liverpool policing team wrote on Twitter: "Extra patrols will be out and about this evening to support the community. Need to report something 'tell us' online or dial '101'."
Throughout Merseyside, a number of dispersal zones have been introduced in anti-social behaviour hotspots as police are given addition powers and will increase patrols. This evening, a Section 60 order in Birkenhead was extended following increasing reports of violence.
One dad previously spoke to the ECHO calling for a ban to Mischief Night, which he says has become an "excuse for the purge". The Widnes dad says anti-social behaviour increases during the Halloween period and families are "suffering".
